Sue Kenny
My background is in education; I began teaching in 1985 and up to August 2019 I was the Headteacher of a small Primary school in Lancashire. I thoroughly enjoyed the experiences education offered to me during my 34-year career and feel the knowledge and skills I have gained are invaluable in supporting me in my role as a governor. I welcomed support and challenge from my governors and hope that I can offer something similar to Little Hoole’s Senior Leadership Team. I look forward to working with the school in continuing to drive standards forwards.
Outside of Little Hoole, I am now employed as a Civil Servant in Lancashire, working within the Registration Service as a Registrar of births, deaths and marriages. I live in Southport, but have spent a lot of time in Lancashire so feel that I know the area well.
I’m a keen reader and I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking and listening to music.
