Is there a difference between ‘Homework’ and ‘Home Learning?’ At the moment – the answer is yes. Homework is about consolidating and applying skills learnt in class at school. Home learning is about continuing the learning of new skills at home rather than in class.
As of 30th September 2020, the examples of class or school closure locally suggests that if we are required to oversee any sort of isolation, it is likely that either a class or the whole school will need to close down for up to 14 days. It is too early to say for sure, but there is very little talk of the sort of full closure of school and for the duration that we all experienced between March and the end of June 2020.
